For over two decades, my life has been defined by the vibrant rhythm of a kitchen. As a professional caterer for more than 20 years, I have had the privilege of feeding thousands, witnessing the way a single, perfectly balanced meal can turn a gathering into a memory. My journey began with a simple passion for feeding people well, but it grew into a lifelong study of the soul of Indian cuisine: the masala.
In the fast-paced world of professional catering, I learned that there are no shortcuts to true flavor. While the industry began to lean toward mass-produced, preservative-laden shortcuts, I remained an idealist. I spent years hand-selecting my own spices, roasting them until they released their oils, and grinding them to the exact texture required for each specific dish.
I saw how commercial spices often lost their life force, to fillers and anti-caking agents. I knew that the secret to the meals my clients loved wasn’t just in the technique, but in the integrity of the spices themselves.
The Legacy Spoon is the culmination of my twenty years of experience, distilled into small, intentional batches. I personally oversee every step—from the careful sourcing of premium whole spices to the slow-roasting process that honours each ingredient’s unique profile.
